With a festival as huge as Warped Tour, there’s no surprise it’s nearly impossible for one person to fit in EVERYTHING the tour has to offer in just one day!
In case you missed it, we featured the bands we caught at the Mountain View date, featuring Goldfinger, Neck Deep, CKY, Attila, Sammy Adams… just to name a few.
Though there were a TON of amazing artists that we didn’t have the chance to catch — so why not highlight them now? Check out the list below for some of the acts the 2017 Warped Tour featured and be sure to let us know who was your favorite or newly discovered favorite in the comments below 👇
Counterparts are a hardcore punk band reigning from Canadian, who you probably caught tearing up the Mutant North stage. Their debut album Prophets was released in 2007 and are just weeks away from releasing their fifth album, You’re Not You Anymore which drops September 22nd via PureNoise Records.
With just a peak at their latest, “Bouquet” you can bet their pit at Warped was INSANE.
Missed out on seeing them this summer? Don’t worry. The band is touring with Stray From The Path and other amazing bands this September throughout Canada!
These California locals played all summer long on the Mutant North Stage. Perhaps you didn’t catch the set…but maybe some of their beautiful merch caught your eye (which, you can order on their website as well).
Didn’t catch them this summer? The band will be playing select shows throughout the United States and Canada (opening for The Devil Wears Prada) before heading overseas.
Their latest album, the second studio release came out last year titled Everything Was Sound via Solid State Records. Their latest from the album, “Understanding Love As Loss” was released this May – check out the beautiful video below.
Probably our biggest regret of the day was not catching Barb Wire Dolls down at the SkullCandy stage. This epic grunge/punk female fronted band comes all the way from Greece and was rightfully getting a ton of buzz this summer!
Missed out on their performance? Don’t worry! Barb Wire Dolls are headlining a full tour throughout the U.S (and will be making their stop in Santa Cruz and San Francisco early October) this fall.
Perhaps you’ve seen images of lead singer Isis Queen with her ripped leggings and overall battered-doll look. Don’t let her blonde hair and cherry red lips fool you. Their latest album, Rub My Mind was released last month via Motörhead Music. “Back In The U.S.S.A” is the first track off the album, check out the video below.
Also on the SkullCandy stage was “the greatest brass-rock band to ever exist” according to Stacked Like Pancakes who made up their own genre. These guys don’t play by the rules, their amazing rock featuring trombones/horns is incomparable. Don’t believe us? Be sure to catch their California shows this November with Save Ferris (who also kicked ass on Warped this year).
Stacked Like Pancakes‘ latest album, This Is Us dropped late 2015. Check out their latest SFDD below, you won’t regret it. It’s like…the house party/hang out we all dream about.
Who the heck is tiLLie? You may have missed out on this amazing up-and-coming artist because her set was one of the first of the day (at least at our date) on the Full Sail University. From Atlantia to Los Angeles, Tillie has been all the buzz. Coining artists like Paramore, The Beatles and Shania Twain as her influences… you know you can expect great things.
Check out her latest for “Save Yourself” below and be on the lookout for her debut LP.
Warped Tour this year featured nearly 100 bands (98 listed on their site, we counted) across seven stages… we’re sure we missed out on a TON of great talent. Let us know who should be on our radar and who you’re hoping will make the cut for the 2018 Vans Warped Tour lineup? 🤞
