Let’s face it: we’re a little spoiled here in the Silicon Valley. With all the exciting announcements for festivals this year and familiar music-staples to plan to attend, you can add a brand new and exciting experience to the list: the ID10T (pronounced I-D-TEN-T) Music Festival and Comic Conival, happening for the first year at the Shoreline Amphitheatre.
What is the ID10T Festival? It’s a celebration of everything us nerds love: music, comics, gaming, comedy, pop culture, technology and more. This groundbreaking event is the first of it’s kind to combine all of these medias together for a once-in-a-lifetime weekend happening in the Bay’s own backyard.
The festival is created and hosted by none other than Chris Hardwick and will be so much more than just your typical concert experience. Of course, you’ll have your main stage acts, including headliners such as Weezer, OK Go, The Mowgli’s, Girl Talk, TV On The Radio and so much more.
Where else can you enjoy such big names in the music industry and also catch comedy acts including Demetri Martin, Michael Che, Nikki Glaser, Garfunkel & Oates… and that’s not even half the acts! In addition to the comedy tent, there will also be a “Mad Decent Dance Tent” with sets by Madeon, Zeds Dead, Jai Wolf and so much more!
Still aren’t completely hyped? There will be over 50 of today’s best comic book artists and creators, as well as a daytime panel programming, live podcasts including Hardwick’s own Nerdist, interactive games, rides and more.
This is all happening June 24th and 25th… but tickets go on sale THIS Friday! You can participate in the presale by using offer code “party” as early as Thursday 10am on March 9th!
